摘要：
Ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF) is the first neurokine to be found out for the potency to promote motoneuron survival in vitro and in vivo, and it does play a role in the development and regeneration of the nervous system. CNTF has been found up mainly in the astrocyte and Schwann cell. Its gene is located in the proximal part of long arm of chromosome 11, and apparently heterogenous to the gene of neurotrophins, there is no
