This paper is a case study of translation of The First Visit to the Red Cliff translated by Yang Xianyi and Gladys Margaret Tayler from the perspective of translation aesthetics to demonstrate the aesthetic elements in translation activity,and plans to explore the effect and influence of translation aesthetics in the translation process.
