Deoxyactein(DA)is a triterpenoid isolated from the root of Cimicifuga foetida which is a source of traditional Chinese herb"shengma"and is traditionally used as an antipyretic and analgesic agent.Previous studies showed that DA exhibited anti-proliferative effect in human breast cancer cells.Hence,the objectives of this study were to investigate
