Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and risk factors for the progression of acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF)associated with hepatitis B in elderly patients.Methods A total of 168 elderly patients with hepatitis B-related acute-on-chronic liver failure (HBVACLF)at Tianjin Third Central Hospital who met the diagnostic criteria of the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL)-ACLF were enrolled,
