The total investment of US$18.88 million includes US$10.08 million worth of factory buildings, equipment and other facilities contributed by the Chinese partner and US$8.8 million in cash from the Canadian partner, 53.4 percent and 46.6 percent respectively. The company has a staff of 1,644 and occupies an area of 230,000 square metres.
