摘要
The change of the stress distribution of the lumbarspine after discectomy was analysed by thethree-dimensional finite element metbod. It was shownthat the stress level in the posterior element washigher, but that in the anterior element was lower thanbefore disc excision. The most significant change ofthe stress distribution was found in the trabecular boneof the vertebral body.It is considered that indiscectomy the normal disc tissue should be preservedas much as possible to maintain good function of thespine.
