The lack of a stable analytical framework is the main reason why academic circles have not been able to keep an historical and objective grasp of Russia-U.S.relations.In order to make an academic analysis of Russia-U.S.relations we must not simply rely on political statements,but we must also take into account basic variables that can affect the relationship.
