Studies on the Complexes of Rare Earth with Organic Ligands Containing Sulphur Atoms Ⅴ.Preparation and Properties of Heavy Rare Earth Piperidinocarbodithioate Complexes

The rare earth piperidinocarbodithioate complexes with the general formulas(PipH)[RE(PipCS)]·xHO(Pip=piperidino,RE=Y,Tb～Er,x=2.6)and RE(PipCS)Cl·2HO(RE=Tm,Yb)have been pre-pared by using anhydrous rare earth chloride and piperidinium piperidinocarbodithioate as reactants under drynitrogen atmosphere.They have been characterized by elemental analyses,IR spectra,conductivity measurementand TG-DTA technique.The results show that in the complexes the ligands coordinate to RE ion through twosulphur atoms.
