摘要
Ⅰ. BASIC IDEA As is generally known that the main features of ionic polymerization can be described as follows: (ⅰ)All the active centers are formed simultaneously; (ⅱ) propagation can only occur between the living polymer chain and the monomers; (ⅲ) as the polymer chain is active, chain termination and chain transfer reactions are almost nonexistent, so they can be neglected in the polymerization process. This is how narrow MWD polymers are produced.
