摘要
On 30 Nov, 2006, three China developed Internet related international standards showed their appearance in China’s Drive in Developing Internet Related International Standard Seminar hosted by China Internet Information Network Center. According to reliable resource, the aforesaid Internet related international standard are Registration and Administration Recommendations for Chinese Domain Names (RFC4713) just released in Oct. 2006 and earlier two standards Standard of Chinese Character Encoding for Internet Information Transmission (RFC1922) and Registration and Administration Recommendations for Chinese, Japanese and Korean Multiple Language Domain Names (RFC3743). Developers of RFC4713 and RFC3743 come from China Internet Network Information Center, while RFC1922’s developer from Tsinghua University. After the release of RFC3743 and RFC4713, Chinese.CN had received supports directly from global Internet society, software community and system integrators, making them global universal application standards. For instance, Microsoft announced the adoption of aforesaid international standards in its latest release of browser IE7.0, which fully supports Chinese.CN domain names and facilitates an elementary platform for the development of Chinese Internet network in the whole world.
