摘要：
With the uneven distribution of water resources in rivers,the relationship between water pollution and economic development and the regional difference and trend of water pollution are analysed.Water pollution has been increasing with the growth of population/urbanization,and in direct proportion with industrial-agricultural output but inversely with the precipitation and depth of runoff.A regional scheme for China has been worked out by taking all factors into consideration.
