摘要：
In this paper the representation of M\-q(2) and the simplest algebra of type AIII are studied. Especially, the irreducible representations, the point, the line, and plane modules over the algebra M\-q(2) are classified and constructed explictly. The main steps are to compute the center and the variety of the algebra M\-q(2).
