摘要
Regulations considering ethnic and cultural diversity in health care are crucial for delivering fair and effective wound care services. Cultural competence training and community-based approaches are critical for improving the quality and equity of patient care. These classes need to include implicit and explicit bias concepts with real- world examples. Education can be enhanced by inviting patients impacted by micro and macroaggressions that they have encountered in health care. Case examples from different ethnic groups and multidisciplinary approaches provide a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of wound care. Moreover, technological innovations are making significant advancements in wound care, but considering the effects of these innovations on different skin tones is essential for providing equitable and effective care. Health care professionals' ability to use these technologies effectively and their sensitivity to the needs of patients with different skin tones will lead to more successful outcomes in wound care. In this regard, developing and implementing regulations considering ethnic and cultural diversity in health care will support continuous improvement in patient care.
