摘要
Tropical cyclones wind retrievals from satellite observations are typically associated with long revisit intervals, that limits the systems operational use especially in case of rapid intensification rates of the cyclones. Here, we use two observational satellite datasets in order to explore the spatiotemporal range of wind speed stability for possible fusion of data from different sensors. On one hand the CYGNSS platforms ensure relatively short revisit times, while on the other hand imaging radars, such as the Sentinel-1, provide high resolution images at longer revisit times. Results provide some preliminary valuable information on wind data variability in the cyclone moderate wind zone.
