摘要
Although aqueous zinc ion batteries are booming, there are still some shortcomings, such as poor rate and cycle performance. Herein, 2,3,7,8-tetraethylpyrazino[2,3-g]quinoxaline-5,10-dione (TEPQ) was synthesized and used as the cathode active material for aqueous Zn-organic battery. When adding 2 M Na2SO4 into 1 M ZnSO4 electrolyte, TEPQ exhibited a higher specific capacity of 396 mAh/g at 0.1 A/g and enhanced cycling life from 3000 to 8000 rounds at 10 A/g. The experimental results indicated that Na+ can simultaneously accelerate the reaction kinetics and participate in charge storage processes of TEPQ.
