Based on and hexamethylenetetramine (urotropine), a new corrosion and scale inhibitor GPUSCH was synthesized. Hydrolysis of polyacrylonitrile was carried out using a 10% alkali solution NaOH, at a temperature of 70- 80 degrees C, in a molar ratio of 1:1. Then hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile in an aqueous solution was compounded with urotropine, at a temperature of 30- 40 degrees C, in a molar ratio of 1:1. The resulting GPUSCH inhibitor, together with the corrosion and scale inhibitors IONKh-1 and Fineamin-95T, was studied for the inhibition of corrosion and scaling on the water of the circulating water supply system of the Bukhara oil refinery. The studies were carried out using gravimetric, electrochemical and thermostatting methods. Corrosion resistance tests were carried out using the gravimetric method in the cooling water of the plant's circulating water supply system with a steel sample- St.3. Tests to determine the degree of inhibition of scale deposits we re carried out on the device "Indicator of salt deposits ISO- 1", in cooling and collector water. Tests to determine the degree of inhibition of scale deposits were carried out by the method of thermostating, on the water of a model solution. Studies have shown that the degree of protection of the GPUSCH inhibitor in various environments was 97.5% against corrosion and 73.7-95.0% against scale deposits
