摘要
Architecture under the digital age is dramatically changing the way buildings are conceived, designed, and produced. This paper is investigating the use of such tools in architecture and urban design education in practice-based research while speculating about its future implications. The potential of the study implements a strategy to demonstrate the prospect of transformation in architecture educational environment by testing diverse set of ideologies and tools relevant for emerging architectural practices of the digital age. Through Emergent Design, this paper examines how choice of design methodology contributes to the success of transformation within educational studios for architecture and urban design. The presented study is based on a practice-based pilot experimentation in the architecture studio, where students are subjected to a variable open-hybrid digital strategy. It comes in consequential or cyclic-like process. The target is to trigger the student's cognitive capacity and enlarge it on various scales.
