摘要
The composite spherical shell with embedded damping corers (CCSSEDC) stands out as a highly promising candidate for effectively suppressing structural vibrations. However, the optimization of CCSSEDC's vibration characteristics has been the subject of very limited research at present. In addressing this gap, the vibration differential equations in the complex modulus form for CCSSEDC were established by utilizing the combination of the Rayleigh-Ritz method and Zig-Zag models. To obtain the theoretical solution for CCSSEDC, a double trigonometric series method was proposed to solve the aforementioned equations. In addition, a comparative analysis was conducted, contrasting the obtained theoretical solution with the results derived from finite element simulation and the published literature. Through this comparison, the effectiveness of the theoretical model was verified while further investigating the changing patterns of dynamic performance in CCSSEDC in relation to various structural parameters. The results indicate that the damping performance of the CCSSEDC significantly improves as the number of damping cores increases. Additionally, by adjusting the thickness of the damping core, the radius of the CCSSEDC, and the arrangement of the fibers, the dynamic performance of the structure can be further enhanced. These findings offer valuable theoretical support for the design and practical application of CCSSEDC.
