With the developing of global technologies and industries such as Internet, cloud computing and artificial intelligence, more new career demands are emerging. Thus, how to match employees and enterprises better shows more importance in research and application. Nowadays, there is still a lack of research on different matching types of employee career from the individual and organization in the aspect of employee and organization matching. Based on the relevant literature, this study divides eight types of career adaptability, and makes a hypothesis that the career adaptability types of employees have positive relationships with career success. Taking employees of state-owned enterprises, private enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises as the research objects, this study uses values scale and career success scale to make the questionnaire, as a consequence, 281 samples are collected, and the reliability and validity of each scale are tested. Through empirical analysis, the conclusion is drawn that among the eight career adaptability types of employees, the employees who belong to the all-fit adaptability type have the highest career success. Some suggestions for enterprise management and personal career development are given.
