摘要
Laser endoscopic surgery is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that uses laser energy for precise tissue ablation and coagulation. Operative interventions carried out using this method save time for medical teams, give patients the opportunity for a quick recovery, and prevent various complications - the need for serious anaesthesia, inflammatory processes, blood loss, and poorly implemented sutures completing the operative intervention. An endoscope is a small, flexible tube with a camera and a light source at the end. It enters the body through a small incision or natural opening. A laser beam is used to cut, remove, or coagulate tissue, avoiding the use of traditional surgical instruments and techniques. This surgical technique is gaining more and more popularity due to its ability to provide targeted treatment with high results, reducing the risk of complications and giving a chance for a faster recovery. In this report, we will discuss new trends and techniques in laser endoscopic surgery, as well as the state of the art in this field.
