摘要
Global warming concerns have increased countries' attention to developing green energy supplies for their energy demands. Developing cost-effective solar cells is a talented way to reduce greenhouse gases produced by fossil fuels. Here, the study focuses on increasing the photovoltaic performance of carbon-based perovskite solar cells (C-PSCs) as promising and non-expensive new-generation solar cells. Functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (f-MWCNTs) were anchored with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) quantum dots (QDs) and then used as a dual role of the counter electrode and hole transfer layer to record a champion efficiency of 18.18 % for C-PSCs. Better band alignment and faster charge transfer at the perovskite/fMWCNTs interface are the origins of photovoltaic improvements. In addition, the decoration of fMWCNTs with MoS2 QDs increased the hydrophobic properties of fMWCNTs, boosting the stability properties of C-PSCs.
