摘要:
This paper presents a Ka-band planar 3D-printed metasurface lens antenna based on gradient-index materials. The glide-symmetric unit cells with different values of the infill percentages are utilized to achieve the gradient index and phase-controllable material for alignment of the transmitted wave in the desired direction. The designed planar lens is fabricated and measured at 26.5-40 GHz. The measured return loss and realized gain are about -12 dB and 23 dBi, respectively, which agree with the simulated results. The designed lens antenna is a good candidate for 5G/6G communication and radar systems.
