摘要
In contrast to other tracers, gallium68 in FAPI-46-PET/CT does not bind intracellularly, but rather to the extracellular fibroblast activation protein (FAP). This shows the invasiveness of various solid malignancies. The importance of FAPI-PET/CT as a predictive marker for survival was highlighted in the study by Watanabe et al., in which 145 patients with various tumor entities received a Ga-68-FAPI-PET/CT (FAPI-PET/CT) and a F-18-FDG-PET/CT (FDG-PET/CT).
