摘要
Nowadays, the population growth in cities due to migration and natural increase has caused various problems. Pollution, security, economic problems, increasing infrastructure needs, changing production and consumption habits, increasing inequalities, unbalanced distribution of the social environment, etc. these are just a few of them. The fact that this and similar problems have become a problem for all world cities on a global scale has accelerated the search for solutions. Technological tools are used intensively to identify, measure, analyze, share and reach solution-oriented results of the increasing problems of the city. Due to the fact that smart city affects many sectors and/or areas of life due to its scope, it is covered in a wide framework: Economy, environment, quality of life, transportation, management and smart people. In the study, smart city solutions related to the concept of smart city are discussed in the example of Bal & imath;kesir province.
