摘要：
Pyrularia (Cervantesiaceae), a small genus previously known from eastern Asia (Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sikkim) and eastern United States, is newly recorded from Vietnam. The specimen was discovered in the rainforest of Lao Cai province, northern Vietnam, and was identified as P. edulis (Wall.) A. DC. based on both morphological and molecular data. This study updates our knowledge on the geographic distribution of the genus Pyrularia. The taxonomic key is provided to distinguish Pyrularia and its related genus Scleropyrum.
