摘要
In this paper, the Micro Metal Patch(MMP), designed to enhance the poor radio wave propagation characteristics of low emissivity(Low-E) glass by employing a small-sized metal patch compared to the wavelength, has no impact on the radio wave characteristics of standard glass. Extending these results, simulations validate that MMP does not affect the propagation characteristics of the Frequency Selective Surface(FSS) used as a spatial filter. These results indicate the appropriate application of FSS to Low-E glass that requires a high Metal Filling Ratio(MFR).
