摘要
Glucose detection is essential in industrial testing and biopharmaceutical applications. There is a significant market demand for low-cost, high-sensitivity, and rapid glucose sensors that are user-friendly. This demand has attracted considerable attention from the industry and has driven efforts to develop innovative glucose sensor devices. In response, we propose a fast, label-free glucose sensor based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) that utilizes Ag-Ag@CoO nanoflower structures. Compared to pure silver-based sensors, the sensitivity of the sensor modified with Ag@CoO nanoflowers is enhanced by 150.70%, reaching 3763.29 nm/RIU, with a glucose concentration sensitivity of 431.2 nm/vol%. This enhancement is attributed to the CoO nanoflowers, which provide abundant active sites for the attachment of glucose molecules. This novel SPR sensor offers a universal platform with high sensitivity for glucose detection.
