This systematic review summarizes the knowledge on the effectiveness of oral vancomycin in treating inflammatory bowel disease in primary sclerosing cholangitis patients and helps identify knowledge gaps. Ultimately a well-powered randomized controlled trial is required to definitively assess drug efficacy.
