摘要
The article presents one of the ways to improve the design of a percussion machine, which consists in using a shock-rotary mechanism that ensures the introduction of a drilling tool into a rock mass along a helical trajectory. The structural and layout schemes of the impact-rotary mechanism of a percussion machine with a helical working stroke of a drilling tool are presented. The use of an upgraded design of a percussion machine provides an increase in the efficiency of using impact energy due to the formation of additional shear stresses in the rock mass and, as a result, an increase in drilling speed. The design of a rock-breaking tool is proposed, which contributes to improving the drilling efficiency.
