摘要
In this paper, we propose a dual-band bandpass filters (BPFs) with the use of short-ended dual-mode patch resonators. The dual-mode resonators offer the advantage of individually adjustable resonant frequencies and minimized size. These advantages enable the design of dual-band BPFs with fully controllable bandwidth and compact footprint. To demonstrate these novel resonators, we conduct a detailed study to investigate their resonant frequencies and the adjustment mechanism of resonant frequencies. Additionally, we performed a theoretical synthesis procedure for the proposed BPFs and obtain key design parameters to realize the filters. Finally, we validate the feasibility of the design and the advantages of filters based on the substrate integrated suspended line (SISL) platform through simulations and measurements on the designed BPFs.
