The X-ray Diagnostics required in the Course of minimally invasive endourological Interventions lead to repeated Exposure of Patients to Ionizing Radiation. How high is the Radiation Dose during percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL), extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) and Ureteroscopy (URS)? And what Measures can minimize Radiation Exposure? A European Research Team answers these Questions.
