摘要
It is a significant premise for us that prevent the occurrence of power system cascading failures to quickly identify and further evaluate the fault status of power system in operation. In order to improve the level of operational security situation assessment of power system, an evaluation method combining random matrix theory and L2 norm is proposed. Firstly, the basic theorem of random matrix and the concept of L2 norm are introduced. The data model is developed by combining wide area measurement system(WAMS). Then the time series matrix is builded by using voltage data and active power data. The random matrix theory is combined with L2 norm for matrix analysis, and the statistical characteristics are compared with the physical characteristics of power grid. Rapid identification of system fault nodes and identification of new weakest nodes under typical fault scenarios are realized. Finally, IEEE39 node system is used for simulation under initial fault scenario and model verification, which further demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
