摘要
The BiOBr photocatalysts with varied morphologies were prepared utilizing the solvothermal approach with solvents. The effects of different solvents on the characteristics and morphology of BiOBr materials were investigated in depth. The photocatalytic activity of the as-synthesized BiOBr samples was determined by their capacity to degrade Doxycycline (DC) under visible light. The quenching tests revealed that center dot O-2- and e- have played a significant role in DC degradation. At a DC concentration of 15 ppm, the BiOBr catalyst, which was produced by dissolving bismuth nitrate in isopropanol, achieved a degrading efficiency of approximately 80%. Reuse studies, together with X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) examinations of before and after catalysts, validated the reusability and enhanced stability of the as-prepared material. Furthermore, liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was used to determine the degradation routes of DC intermediates, and toxicity studies were carried out using quantitative structureactivity relationship (QSAR) modeling.
