ISAC Waveform Design of mmWave MIMO-OFDM System based on Constructive Interference

摘要
In this paper, we propose an integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) waveform design method based on mmWave MIMO OFDM system. To improve radar sensing capability, we endow the waveform with desirable ambiguity properties and beam directivity by making the designed waveform similar to the reference waveform. Meanwhile, we deploy constructive interference to guarantee the quality of service (QoS) for communication users. Considering the hardware implementation, we also restrict the peak to average power rate (PAPR) of every antenna. Under the constraints of constructive interference, PAPR and per-antenna power, we minimize the error between the reference waveform and the designed waveform. To solve the optimization problem efficiently, we utilize alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) and provide closed-form solutions for the subproblems in every iteration under ADMM framework. Simulation results show remarkable performance of the proposed method.
