摘要
Advances in synthetic biology have enabled the development of tumor-targeted live bacterial therapeutics. In a recent study published in Nature, Redenti et al. engineered Escherichia coli Nissle 1917(EcNc Delta lon/Delta ompT/LLO+ nAg), which exploits the advantages of living medicines to deliver arrays of tumor-specific neoantigenic epitope in optimal environments, thereby providing a novel strategy for developing effective and durable cancer immunotherapies.
