Management of sore throats in the pharmacy, performance of the angina rapid diagnostic test

Sore throats are one of the most frequent complaints to pharmacists during the winter months. They are often benign, but it's up to the pharmacy team to rule out any serious factors, in particular the presence of bacterial angina. To this end, the angina rapid diagnostic test is available in pharmacies. This is a new task for pharmacists, but the whole team must be able to offer it to patients when the situation calls for it.
