摘要
This review article explores cervical cancer, a preventable and treatable malignancy heavily influenced by Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection. It explores the beginning and development of the illness, as well as the cervical cancer cell cycle. Following a brief overview of the many stages of cervical cancer, a thorough discussion of diagnosis and treatment options is provided. Options for treatment include cutting-edge developments in targeted therapy, including as immunotherapy and nanodrug delivery systems, in addition to conventional methods like surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. The treatment of recurring and metastatic illness is also covered in this article. The review also looks at the possible use of artificial intelligence, innovative therapeutic agents, nano formulations, and CRISPR/Cas9 technologies in the treatments of cervical cancer. It acknowledges the challenges and regulatory concerns related to these innovative approaches in its conclusion. This review offers a thorough description of the condition of cervical cancer treatment today and in the future, along with insights into potential paths for bettering patient outcomes and lowering the disease's worldwide burden.
