摘要
Given the intensification of immigration, it is increasingly necessary to study the human rights situation that migrants are experiencing. The article describes the experience of migrants in an irregular situation re-- garding the protection and guarantee of their human rights within the framework of the accompaniment of the International Organization for Migration, during their transit through the eastern Honduran border. The study was developed from a qualitative research perspective, using semi-structured interviews for data collection. Its main results show the support of medical services, accommodation and food that alleviate their crisis, being provided by organizations not related to the State. There is evidence of discrimination and abuses of a coercive nature that often subject them to economic exploitation. There is little coordination be-- tween the work of state organizations and the IOM to ensure their rights.
