摘要
Research in the field of education is instigating more and more interest, since its development is based on the constant emerging of new challenges that must be faced to respond to inequality. These problems and challenges also require new methods. This article presents the characteristics of a conversation held between Brazilian and Chilean teachers about teaching, within the framework of the teacher valorization policy, using WhatsApp as a tool for the formation of a social community. Starting from the description of the criteria and procedures for the creation of the community, the text reflects on the potentials and limits provided by the digital social network, to offer, against the background of the results achieved, an evaluation of its main methodological and epistemological assumptions.
