NLO corrections to J/ψ+ c + c<overline> photoproduction

Based on the factorization framework of nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics, we study the associated J/ jr + c + c<overline> photoproduction process at next-to-leading order (NLO) in as and leading order (LO) in the velocity expansion. The NLO (LO) total cross section for HERA is sigma HERA tot = 0.118(0.074) nb and for EIC is sigma EIC tot = 0.046(0.027) nb. The differential cross sections in p 2 T , W, and z are presented. The results indicate that the next-to-leading order corrections are substantial, and testable in experiment.
