摘要
Several requirements and obstacles are involved in organ donation and transplantation, including registration, matching donors with recipients, organ removal, organ delivery, and transplantation. Several legal, clinical, ethical, and technical barriers prevent the desired results. Moreover, immutability and transparency are two key requirements in such a system to maintain sustainability and trust among potential donors and patients. Therefore, a comprehensive organ donation and transplantation framework is essential to ensure a fair, efficient, and confident process. A blockchain-based organ donation and transplantation framework, with important qualities such as immutability, transparency, decentralization, and anonymity, would solve the above-mentioned challenges and concerns of present organ donation and transplantation systems. These characteristics can facilitate trust, security, and privacy in a blockchain-based donation and transplantation system, restoring trust among stakeholders. Although blockchain technology has the capability to provide an efficient and trustworthy remedy to the aforementioned challenges, it is critical to thoroughly and diligently identify and analyze all of the modules and requirements of such a framework to construct a trustable organ donation and transplantation management framework for the key stakeholders. In this regard, we envision the modules and requirements design of a blockchain-based organ donation and transplantation system using the SysML modeling language. The suggested design ensures immutability, decentralization, transparency, trust, security, and privacy among system actors.
