摘要
pH 5 was optimal for Methylene Blue (MB) adsorption; pH 6 for Bromocresol Green (BG).Max dye removal efficiency occurred at 50 mg/L initial concentration, 0.05 mg/L dosage.Methylene Blue had a higher adsorption capacity of 147 mg/g vs. 142.8 mg/g for BG.Adsorption behavior conformed to Langmuir isotherm, indicating monolayer adsorption. The process was exothermic with negative Gibbs free energy change (∆G), spontaneous.
