摘要
Reversible modulation of the luminescence of rare earth materials is of great significance for exploring the properties and applications of rare earth materials. The reversible modulation of rare earth luminescence and the miniaturization and integration of rare earth luminescence devices can be achieved by combining electric field responsive materials with rare earth luminescent materials, which has great application potential in intelligent window,anti-glare mirror, information display,anti-counterfeiting and other multidisciplinary fields. In this paper, the recent development of electric field responsive materials and rare earth luminescent devices based on electric field responsive materials is reviewed. The response mechanism of some typical organic electrochromic molecules, organic electrodeformable molecules, inorganic metal oxides, inorganic light-emitting semiconductors and ferroelectrics, and the research status of rare earth luminescent devices based on these electric field responsive materials are introduced. © 2025 Editorial Office of Chinese Rare Earths.
