摘要
Purpose of ReviewIn this review the recent pharmacological benefits were documented.Recent FindingsMoringa oleifera is grown around the globe and is used as vegetable. It is a tree with a straight stem and an open crown that can grow to a height of 7 to 12 m and a diameter of 20 to 40 cm. It also used as medicine, traditional gardening and is mostly utilized for ornamental purposes. Due to its extraordinary healing powers, it has acquired the nickname "the miracle tree" among common people. Blood impurities, anxiety, asthma, blackheads, bronchitis, catarrh, chest congestion, cholera, and many other conditions have all been treated with moringa. Further, it is known for its variety of pharmacological benefits such as anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, anti-hypersensitive, anti-tumor, anti-oxidant, anti-pyretic, anti-ulcer, anti-epileptic, diuretic, cholesterol-lowering, renal, anti-diabetic, and hepatoprotective properties. This review summarizes the health benefits of moringa oleifera and its use in food industry along with its adverse effects. The ability to create pharmaceutical drugs may be incredibly powerful if further research into the Moringa plant's ingredients and mechanism of action is conducted.SummaryMoringa oleifera can be employed in a variety of pharmacological benefits evident from preclinical studies that took into account all factors connected to the extent of plant consumption.
