摘要
This study evaluates the performance of a steel-cement grout interface with high compressive strength (> 70 MPa) under combined shear force and lateral compression. The investigation focuses on key parameters, including the geometry of the embossed steel plate, particularly the rib orientation, and the level of confining force. These factors are analyzed to determine the failure mechanisms, shear behavior, and ductility of the interface. The comparison of the elastic response across different specimens provides a predictive framework for understanding the linear behavior of the steel-cement grout interface under varying parameters, and the impact of the effect of confinement on the mechanical bond, represent a novel analysis in this field not addressed in previous research. Additionally, the characteristic slip values measured in this study indicate greater ductility in the connection using OR2 specimens, where ribs are oriented perpendicular to the shear force. This finding is particularly promising for the intended applications of this adhesive connection system.
