摘要
In the decades since women began entering the workplace in large numbers in the 1960s and ’70s, women have steadily increased their representation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, or STEM, jobs. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, women made up just 8[%] of STEM workers in 1970. By 2019 that percentage had grown to 27[%].
