摘要
In the present work, the concentrations of barium fluoride and Dy3+ ions were varied to check the efficiency of titanium borate glasses for W-LED applications. The potentiality of glasses for specified applications were analyzed through evaluating innumerable key parameters from photoluminescence (PL) and PL decay spectra. The white light emission from the proposed glasses was also confirmed through color chromaticity parameters. The color correlated temperatures were evaluated to analyze the glass whether it emits white light in cool or warm region. By optimizing the results, titanium borate glasses with 1 mol% of Dy3+ ion concentration gives the cool white light.
