Distributed frequency control strategy for islanded microgrid with consideration of transmission congestion

摘要
To guarantee the security and stability of islanded microgrid, transmission congestion problem is considered during the frequency control so as to efficiently make use of power available without violating system constraints. A novel strategy was proposed, which combines distributed frequency control and congestion management and makes the distributive frequency control reasonable at the request of line congestion. It effectively solve multi-objective problem with multi-linear equality and inequality constraints. To testify the proposed strategy, an islanded microgrid with five-machines is provided in Matlab/Simulink. The results demonstrate that fast frequency regulation and effective settlement of transmission congestion are obtained by this approach. © 2016 SERSC.
