摘要
Here, dynamic compression tests were conducted for basalt fiber reinforced geopolymer concrete (BFRGC) to investigate effects of basalt fiber content of 0. 1%, 0. 2% and 0. 3% and age of 3 d, 7 d and 28 d on dynamic mechanical properties of geopolymer concrete. Strengthening and toughening effects of basalt fibers on geopolymer concrete were analyzed. In addition, contrastive analysis was performed for strengthening and toughening effects of basalt fibers on geopolymer concrete and ordinary Portland cement concrete. The results showed that dynamic compressive strength (fcd ) and specific energy absorption (U) of BFRGC increase approximately linearly with strain rate, with increase in age, fcd and U of BFRGC continue to increase, and strain rate sensitivities of fcd and U continue to enhance; with increase in content of basalt fibers, fcd and U of BFRGC firstly increase and then decrease, and strain rate sensitivities of fcd and U also firstly increase and then decrease; the optimal content of basalt fiber is 0. 2%, basalt fibers have the strengthening and toughening effect on both geopolymer concrete and ordinary Portland cement concrete, the strengthening and toughening effect of basalt fibers on geopolymer concrete is better than that of ordinary Portland cement concrete. © 2024 Chinese Vibration Engineering Society.
