Collaborative optimization method of energy and material flows in iron and steel park considering gas scheduling

In order to promote green and low-carbon transformation of the iron and steel industry,a synergistic energy flow-material flow optimization scheduling method is proposed for the iron and steel park,which fully exploits the synergistic optimization potential of production system and energy system. A material flow model for the production system is established by analyzing the timing sequence characteristic and material relation of blast furnace,converter,and electric furnace processes in the park. Considering the energy consumption characteristic of each production process and gas production and consumption condition,an energy flow-material flow coupling model is established taking into account the gas scheduling. Based on the above model,the synergistic energy flow-material flow optimization scheduling of iron and steel park is carried out with the objectives of minimum system operation cost and minimum carbon emission,and the optimal production strategy for the production equipments of blast furnace,converter,and electric furnace,as well as the optimal scheduling results for energy sources of electricity,gas,and coke are obtained. An iron and steel park in Shanxi Province is taken for example to verify the proposed method,and the results show that under the premise of meeting the production plan requirements of iron and steel park,the proposed method can reduce the daily carbon emission of iron and steel park by 9.56 % and reduce the total system cost by 6.12% through the synergistic control of material flow and energy flow. © 2024 Electric Power Automation Equipment Press.
